Terms & Privacy

Terms of Use

These Terms and Conditions apply to all tickets purchased for the Yonex Belgian International through the official ticketing website operated by Badminton Vlaanderen. By completing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these conditions.

1. ORGANISER

The Yonex Belgian International is organised by:

Badminton Vlaanderen vzw
Wijgmaalsesteenweg 169/1
3020 Herent, Belgium
VAT number: BE0418.769.190
E-mail: info@badmintonvlaanderen.be

The dates, sessions, venue and programme applicable to each ticket are stated on the ticket page and in the order confirmation.

2. TICKET ORDERS

A ticket order becomes final after successful payment and receipt of an order confirmation.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct e-mail address and accurate order information. Badminton Vlaanderen is not responsible for tickets that cannot be delivered because incorrect details were provided.

All prices are displayed in euros and include applicable VAT. Any mandatory booking or transaction costs will be shown before the order is completed.

3. DELIVERY AND USE OF TICKETS

Tickets are delivered electronically to the e-mail address provided during checkout.

Each ticket contains a unique QR code or access code. A ticket is valid for one admission only and becomes invalid after its first successful scan.

The ticket holder must present a readable digital or printed ticket upon arrival. Badminton Vlaanderen may request proof of identity for personalised, discounted or complimentary tickets.

Copying, altering or fraudulently reproducing a ticket is prohibited.

4. ACCESS TO THE EVENT

A ticket grants access only to the date, session, area and ticket category stated on the ticket.

Visitors must follow the venue regulations, safety instructions and directions given by the organiser, venue staff and security personnel.

Access may be refused, without reimbursement, when a ticket:

– Is invalid, copied, altered or already used;

– Was obtained fraudulently or through prohibited resale;

– Does not correspond with the required ticket category;

– Is used by a visitor who seriously disrupts the event or endangers others.

5. PROGRAMME CHANGES

Match schedules, playing times, court allocations, participating players and other programme elements may change due to sporting, organisational or operational circumstances.

Such changes do not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund, provided that the general nature of the purchased event or session remains substantially unchanged.

6. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT

If a paid session is cancelled entirely and no replacement session is offered, Badminton Vlaanderen will communicate the applicable refund procedure to the original purchaser.

When the event or session is postponed, tickets may remain valid for the replacement date. Any possibility and deadline for requesting a refund will be communicated separately.

Badminton Vlaanderen is not responsible for personal expenses such as transport, accommodation or other indirect costs resulting from a change, postponement or cancellation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

7. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Tickets for the Yonex Belgian International are linked to a specific date or period. Consequently, the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal right applicable to many online purchases does not apply to these tickets.

Belgian consumer law excludes leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period from the general right of withdrawal.

Except in the situations described under cancellation or postponement, purchased tickets are therefore non-refundable.

8. TRANSFER AND RESALE

A non-personalised ticket may be transferred privately at no more than its original purchase price, unless the ticket page states otherwise.

Systematic ticket resale and occasional resale above the original price are prohibited under Belgian ticket-resale rules. Badminton Vlaanderen may invalidate tickets offered or acquired in violation of those rules.

Badminton Vlaanderen is not responsible for tickets purchased through unofficial channels.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDINGS

Photography and video recording may take place during the Yonex Belgian International for reporting and promotional purposes.

Visitors may appear incidentally in general atmosphere images. Where appropriate, specific permission will be requested for individual portraits, interviews or prominently featured promotional content.

Visitors with questions or objections can contact a member of the event team or info@badmintonvlaanderen.be.

10. LIABILITY

Attendance is at the visitor’s own responsibility. Visitors must take reasonable care of their personal belongings.

Badminton Vlaanderen is not responsible for theft, loss or damage to personal property unless caused by a fault for which it is legally liable.

Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

11. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected during the purchase and use of a ticket is processed in accordance with the Privacy & Cookies Policy published on this website.

12. QUESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS

Questions concerning an order or ticket can be sent to:

info@badmintonvlaanderen.be

Please include the name used for the order, the order reference and a clear description of the issue.

13. APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights.

Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with the applicable legal jurisdiction rules.
