Day 1 of the tournament has started! 🏸

We’re excited to welcome all the players onto the courts and, of course, to see you in the stands!

Qualification day is always a busy one, and with 18–19 matches taking place across the courts, it’s no different here in Nieuwpoort. Players from across the globe are battling for those precious spots in the main draw — and we’re happy to see plenty of Belgian players in the fight. 🇧🇪

🇧🇪 Belgian players to watch today:

Men’s Singles
Baptiste Rolin, Seppe Daemers, Loïc Gosset, Maxime Bosman, Rik De Backer & Julien Verheyen

Women’s Singles
Tammi Van Wonterghem, Lieke Van Parys, Léa Dauphinais, Auriane Vasilveski, Noa Dauphinais & Gaëlle De Cuyper

And closing out the day for Belgium: Noa Dauphinais & Tammi Van Wonterghem in Women’s Doubles.

👀 Another interesting match to follow is Calvin Lundsgaard & Amanda Aarrebo Petersen in Mixed Doubles. Lundsgaard won the Men’s Doubles title at last year’s tournament, so it will be interesting to see how he performs in the mixed event!

It’s going to be a long but exciting day here in Nieuwpoort. The players will give it everything from the first point to the last — and you can still be part of it!

🎟️ Today is the last day to secure your all-week ticket. Don’t wait too long!
