The Yonex Belgian International is Belgium’s leading international badminton tournaments and a key event on the European circuit. Organized by Badminton Vlaanderen, the tournament brings together top Belgian players and international talent from around the world for several days of high-level competition.

Part of the Badminton Europe circuit as an International Challenge tournament, the event offers valuable world ranking points and serves as an important stepping stone for emerging and established players alike from all around the globe. 

Beyond the matches, the tournament is a true meeting place for the badminton community. With side events, fan experiences, and opportunities to engage with players and fellow enthusiasts, it offers more than just world-class sport, it’s a celebration of badminton at every level.

For the past years the Yonex Belgian International was held in Leuven, but after a successful 20th anniversary, the organisation is taking the tournament all the way to the Belgian coast. Ending the summer and starting the new season with a badminton spectacle in Nieuwpoort. 

During the tournament players can participate in men and woman’s singles, men and woman’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Besides high–level badminton, the Yonex Belgian International provides you with 4 days of challenges, competitions, live entertainment and so much more!
