Accreditation officials
It is our pleasure to invite you to send one or more line judges/umpire to the International Challenge Tournament YONEX Belgian International 2024, part of the ”BEC Elite Circuit”. The tournament will be staged at Sportoase in Leuven from September 11th until September 14th 2024.
The invitation is on the following terms:
- Organisers will provide for your line judges/umpires accommodation, meals and local transport, including transport from Brussels Airport, free of charge for the duration of the tournament.
- Travel costs have to be met by the line judges/umpires or by their Association.
- All line judges/umpires are expected to share rooms with two other colleagues.

Your line judge should arrive in Leuven on the 10th of September so that he/she can attend the line judges ́ dinner on Tuesday evening at 08:00 PM. Those who come by plane should arrive at the Brussels Airport no later than 05:00 PM.

Your umpire should arrive in Leuven on the 10th of September so that he/she can attend the umpires ́ briefing on Tuesday evening at 09:00 PM in the hotel. Those who come by plane should arrive at the Brussels Airport no later than 06:00 PM. Return flights can be booked on Saturday 14th from 08:00 PM or on Sunday 15th.

Finals will be staged on Saturday 14th of September starting in the afternoon and the line judges are expected to stay until Sunday 15th.

Please, let us know as soon as possible, but not later than 1st of July 2024, if you would like to send an umpire to our tournament by filling in the application form and sending it to Marc Quiniet (quiniet.marc@gmail.com). |

Please, let us know as soon as possible, but not later than 12th of July 2024, if you would like to send a line judge to our tournament by filling in the application form and sending it to Jan Lecoque (jan.lecoque@badmintonvlaanderen.be) who will be the line judges manager.

It is possible that the number of nominations will exceed the number of umpires required. Therefore, please do not book any travel arrangements until umpire appointments have been confirmed.

The deadline for sending the umpire’s travel details after the selection has been made will be 31th July 2024.
